Our Services

Turning Pages offers help in reading and writing at any level, basic computer use, help with math skills, and English as a new language.

Volunteer tutors are paired with learners based on schedule, location, and the preferences of both people. Most work one-on-one or in small groups, meeting at our learning center or a local branch of the library. Did you know that most libraries in Richland and Lexington counties have space dedicated for this purpose?

Our computer learning lab is available when we are open, for independent, computer-aided learning.

We offer basic skills assessment, one-on-one or group instruction, training for volunteer adult literacy tutors, research assistance in the fields of adult, family, and health literacy or workforce development, and technical assistance to new and/or small non-profit programs seeking to improve their provision of similar services.
